Outta Sight!

Another day at school and this girl is outta sight. When I dropped her off, she just bailed on me and I had to beg for hugs and kisses goodbye.  I'm so happy she loves school.

Samantha helped put together the puzzle Grandma Ria brought her back in August when she was nowhere near ready. Now she is interested, but still figuring out the positioning of the pieces.

While hanging out with Lori, Nate and Stella yesterday, Mama started picking some pecans off the ground and cracking them open. I gave Sammie a piece but she spit it out. Tonight, we made a bigger "deal" of it. She loved trying to "crack it open" with her hands or banging them on the table, but mostly enjoyed throwing them. She would just giggle and giggle. She was so excited to trade her un-cracked pecan for the pecan I had ready to eat. She shoved it in her mouth and chewed. Then it hit her, bleh, "I no like".

"It's better in pie."
