A Brown Christmas Weekend

We visited the Browns in Dallas who are in town from Arizona for the holidays. It has been almost a year since we saw them last and it's always a good time catching up with good friends. Grant has gotten so big and still very physical. When Samantha went to hug him goodbye, he have her a smooch on the cheek.

Shipment Received

I ordered Sam a screwdriver toy that came just in time, however it went to the post office and by the time we realized it they were closed. So, what's a late gift?! Sam loves screwing the pieces to the board. I'm so happy we got it for her and she can work on her fine motor skills and using a screw driver and screws.

Christmas with the Tonns

We celebrated the day after with the Tonns with dinner and play time! The kids are so much fun!

 

Merry Christmas!

Samantha was one lucky little girl this year! Santa brought her so many goodies. Her popular choices: {clip on} earrings, camera, piggy bank, play-doh tools, Lalaloopsy dolls, tons of Hello Kitty paraphernalia, princess dresses; Grandma and PaPa got her a rocking horse! And she got her requested horse from Santa, although it had a blue saddle, not a purple one. Oh well, Santa can only do so much; She loves it and she had a great Christmas!

Well, Mama & Daddy got Nerfs. Now I bought my own! It's on!

So Much Dancing & Singing

We had so much fun having two Christmas programs today! First was Samantha's dance program. I was worried about how she would do since both times practicing in the big room she didn't pay attention. Then Daddy and I worked with her on the steps at home days before the day-- even then she goofed around. But she did awesome today!!! Daddy, Grandma, PaPa, Nate, Ms. Wendi and Christian all showed up to watch and support Sam! So very special!

 

 

 

 

Following dance was Samantha's school program in the chapel. She did great in the beginning, but soon got tired (and upset that she didn't get a maraca), but overall did an amazing job for having so much to show off in one day!
