Dancing and Cutting Up

Samantha and friends are starting to get ready practicing hard for their Christmas performance! I hope she's ready in a couple of weeks!

 

 Samantha's ends have been getting pretty raggy and knotty so it was time for a trim. Although she was excited about it, this mama is never happy to see those curly locks cut on the floor. (Hair cut #3)

 I never post about Dixie, but this is funny...
Daddy is the one that takes Dixie to the dog park on the weekends for hours and takes her to the dog pond, which results in a bath. I usually just play fetch in the backyard or go walking/running with her. However, today I could tell she was sooo stir crazy; so Sam and I brought her to the dog park for a little bit. We basically had half of the park to ourselves and I stayed in a corner to not tempt her to the pond. Well, every time she caught the ball she would just wander in circles and not come back, which is unlike her. Finally, I decided to go after her and she started wandering towards the pond. I knew exactly what she wanted!... then there she went... PLOP... into the pond! She was so content in that water and luckily, it was just her bottom half, so I wasn't bathing her anyway (not like I had the stuff). Woof!
