"That's My Little Girl Bed?"

So, we've been working on this for a week and Samantha has done great! Tonight she moved onto her little girl bed. She couldn't be more excited! She helped Daddy with the drill and got so excited she almost knocked the mattress over; once it was all put together, she stripped down to nothing ready for bath. After reading, potty-ing rocking, and singing I went to lay her down in bed and she asked to get in by herself. Ok. Kisses. Sweet dreams. Goodnight. And we were all good. Then, in the monitor, we heard her get up, open the door and go to the bathroom all by herself, go back to her room, shut the door, and tuck herself back in bed. It was the sweetest and most innocent thing!!! (I literally shed a tear over this.) Another few minutes passed and she made her way to the kitchen trying to convince me she didn't give Mama a goodnight kiss. So, all around, everyone got their goodnight kisses again (even Ali) and I explained to her that if she keeps this up she will be back in her baby bed! I placed her back in bed and she was ka-put! What an angel!
