The other day I was wearing my work shirt with hospital logo on it and Samantha pointed to it and said "square". I was surprised that she knew square because I thought she only knew circle. Since I have been slacking on teaching her shapes, I opened the shape book today and she knew square, triangle, oval, and star (of course). After dinner, I wanted to show off to Daddy what she knew and she knew them all! Circle, Square, Triangle, Oval, Rectangle, Diamond and Star! She's comfortable with her ABCs and doing better with LMNOP, so we better start learning these shapes.
She is also wanting to blow her own nose now and still does a great job with the sucker- bulb.
We noticed that completely cleaning out her nose before bed helps her sleep better and cough-free. Tonight, she blew her nose in the tub, then let Mama help, then sat still for about 10-15 using the bulb! That's something alright!
