Ahoy Me Matey!

We met Lori, Nate and Stella at the pool for swimming. Samantha got on the edge to jump in, but silly Mama picked her up (I was nervous); I should have just let her do it! because after that when I tried to get her to jump, she would just sit down and slide in *sigh* She did have a lot of fun, though! We both held our nose and went under water, which she didn't cry, and I threw her in the air and caught her in the water before her head went under and she enjoyed that. She walked all over until water got in her mouth and then she clung to me for dear life! She still wants to go back, but changed her mind about having Daddy throw her in LOL

 

After nap we met up with Marti and Adam for a Rogue Running Pirate Run. Daddy walked with her in the jogger and since I AM NOT A RUNNER, I gave myself a goal to make it to the red light a little down the street. Goal achieved. However, the course was about 6 miles, but we turned around about half way to head back to the pizza place for food and drinks. Sam rode most of it, but ran some, which wore me out, but not as much as carrying her back to the start/finish line.

 

Samantha wanted to drive the race car "just for a little bit" after she saw it. We told her if she ate a good amount of dinner she could play for all the time she needed. She played a fighting game and her car game with Daddy. I'm not even going to lie and say she got good. ha ha ha
