She Just Gets It

In other Sammie News... These are a couple of our recent conversations:
Last night

S: "Mama, will you sleep in my room?"

M: "No, I have to sleep in my bed."
S: "Why?"
M: "Because Daddy will get lonely and I need to sleep in a Mama-sized bed."
S: "My floor is large enough."
M: "But I'll hurt my back if I sleep on your floor."
S: "I can put a blanket down for you."

~Sweetness~

Tonight

M: "You're going to spend tomorrow with Daddy and you might go somewhere special, because Mama has to work."

S: "You're going to take Daddy's car?" (The Civic)

M: "Yeah, I'm going to take Daddy's car."

S: "Why?"

M: "Because Mama's car has the carseat and I don't need it because I'm not taking you anywhere."
S: "But there's another carseat in GrandmaRia's room (the office) and Daddy can take it out of there and put it in his car."

M: "Yes, Sam, I know, but it works out that when Daddy works Mama's home and when Mama works Daddy's home, so we don't need that extra carseat."

... then we go one about why I stay home with her and how big she's getting...

POTTY TRAINING:
Samantha has been dry for one week (We started keeping track last Wednesday night, so it's probably been more)! YAY!!!!
