Trim, Slide and Jump!

What a day! We finally got Samantha's hair trimmed since the ends were getting knotty trying to pass a brush through. I was actually a little nervous because she has only had one hair cut (Sept 2012) and I was worried they wouldn't be able to keep her length since her hair is a curly mess. However, the lady did an awesome job and kept complimenting on Sam's curls. Samantha still has long hair!-Whew ;) On another note: I thought she was going to pick one of the kid's chairs (airplane, racecar, etc), but I should have known she was going to pick the big kid chair like Daddy uses.

After a haircut, we met up with Lori, Nate and Stella at the pool. It was so much fun. Samantha finally faced her fears and came with me through the sprinklers and massive squirters to the pirate ship and we went down the slide together! We were able to go twice before the lifeguard told us no mama's allowed. At least Sam thoroughly enjoyed it. Although she was very hesitant and cranky in the water at first, after watching all the boys jump from the diving board and off the edge of the  pool, she finally braved through it! I told her it was just like jumping from the bed and of course Mama would catch her! She had such a blast that she didn't want to stop! Over and over she jumped and jumped! I even some times let her dip below the water. *video*
