Wickedly Cute

Samantha is in full-fledged getting herself dressed mode.... and I love the outfits she picks out!

She is really going an awesome job picking up on things like Grandma, for instance:
I will say to Daddy "Your mom...."
Sam will say, "Your mom... MY Grandma..."

She is well aware of bargaining with you to get what she wants: "I want to swing for just a couple more minutes."; "I'm going to play for a minute before bed. Ok. You promise?"

She really has a way of saying things:
Grandma Ria says, "Samantha, I'm going to take Dixie home with me."
Sam says, "But I've always wanted a dog and now I have one."

And she still doesn't know a stranger. We definitely need to have the stranger talk with her:
As I'm getting her out  of the grocery cart, I ask her, "Do you want to come with me or stay here?" The little ol' lady next to us loading her groceries chirps in "You can come home with me!" Sam's response- matter-of-factly, "No, you don't have a car seat for me."  LOL!!!

Tonight she started singing some random song partly in strange Spanish. Grandma and PaPa said she and Nate had lots of fun together and singing was involved, so I was curious to know what she watched that made her want to sing in broken Spanish. Her response, "It's a song that Grandma Ria sings to me." She is very excited about Grandma Ria coming to visit for her birthday, however, she thinks she's coming tomorrow :)

Grandma took Sam and Nate to the park and wore them out this morning. The weather is so beautiful!

PaPa makes the best shrimp. Sam never gave them a try until tonight, before she scarfed down about 3 or 4. They were delicious!
