Since Samantha had such a great time last year visiting all the animals at the rodeo last year we wanted to bring her back again this year; and Grandma Ria would be with us too. Since Samantha is older and bigger, we planned on riding the ferris wheel, which was located at our entrance. Samantha decided she wanted to see the "aminals" first. We found the petting zoo and headed straight there. After last year's fiasco, Daddy would be the one who went in with Sam. It was hilarious to see a baby goat make a B-line straight for Daddy and start to nibble at his undies (maybe t-shirt). He jumped up quick! This time we watched the cow show. Cows are actually very pretty when they are cleaned and blow-dried! Samantha even pet Elsie, the Borden cow (33rd). We also got great seats at the pig race. It was funny to see them race by for an Oreo cookie! After pig races was FERRIS WHEEL time! Samantha enjoyed it a lot, but started to get worried, I guess when we kept going around & around. Daddy even held her up to see the rodeo from above. We still had tokens left and Samantha reeeally wanted to ride a roller coaster, but unfortunately, she just isn't tall enough. Next year Sam. Next year. We has to pass the change with the famous carousel ride.
I loved comparing the pics from
last year's.
