The Very Busy Sammie

What a day we had! To start off the day, Samantha magically learned how to write some letters. First she wrote the letter 'V', so I asked her to write 'L-O-E' to spell "LOVE". For the record: I did not write any of the letters to show her what they look like!
Can you find them in between my letters?

Then was dance class, which they learned a skipping movement. It's hard to pay attention nowadays with all the mommy-socializing time.
After dance we went to the new Austin Aquarium, a little place but just enough to get your fish and reptile fill... with quite a few touch exhibits! Samantha loved the jelly fish and touching the sting ray. She even held a bird on her arm. I think he nibbled her and then she was done.

Lil' nibbling bird.
She got a souvenir Sting Ray and oddly named it "Shark".
After a nice and happy nap Sam rode her bike to the park, while Mama and Dixie followed behind. She is doing AWESOME at riding her bike. As any kid she has a hard time getting started with getting that top pedal around, so some times I would give her a little push. However, once she gets going on a smooth sidewalk, there's no stopping her! And the other awesome thing is that SHE CAN TURN NOW! You remember the videos before where she would stop herself by running into the first thing she hits... now she can follow the sidewalk... And that she did all the way to the park!!!

Whew. What a day. No wonder why she passed out so easily tonight.
