We had a special surprise for Samantha planned for today and unfortunately Cedar Fever kept Daddy home; but Mama and Samantha went to the toy store for a unicorn party... and with it, there were unicorn rides (the main reason we went)! Our adventure took A LOT longer than we had planned and there were a ton of people, but Sam held up as long as possible without food and a nap. Over all it was a fun day.
It was about a 10 minute carriage ride along the streets of downtown Austin. By the time we had our turn, it was getting dark so all the Christmas-y lights were on in the trees and restaurants/shops.
There were two unicorns and our's name was Elysian, which of course reminded me of Elysian Fields.
